Translated in context
Localizer captures the subject area, audience and tone of the whole document and does not translate sentence by sentence. Terms and references stay consistent across every page.
Features
Localizer combines AI translation with what localisation professionals do as a matter of course: understand the context, keep to the terminology, ask when something is unclear and check the result. You set the scope and requirements and receive an editable file in the original format.
A translation you can work with, instead of a raw draft to rework.
Localizer captures the subject area, audience and tone of the whole document and does not translate sentence by sentence. Terms and references stay consistent across every page.
You do not get a raw translation: language and style are revised, content and completeness are checked. Anything noteworthy is listed in the delivery report.
You receive an editable file in the source format; depending on the format, formulas and technical elements stay protected. Text in images is not translated, and different text lengths may require layout rework.
Terms, requirements and decisions stay in your hands.
Define which terms apply, which variants are allowed and what to avoid, with up to 100,000 terms per glossary.
When the option is offered with the quote, you can include terminology from the EU’s database. Your own requirements and your customer glossary take precedence.
Define how Localizer handles forms of address, gender-inclusive language, numbers, units and dates, and software and UI terms.
Localizer resolves subject questions from the context or puts important decisions to you; a specialist can answer via a protected link. If a passage cannot be translated correctly without your input, we always ask.
In multilingual documents, you choose which languages are translated. Everything else stays unchanged and serves as context.
One file into several languages or several files into one language: prepared together, released individually or together, and available as one ZIP at the end.
From quote to correction in one place, for you and your team.
Your quote states a binding price and the delivery deadline. Translation only starts once you accept. If the deadline is exceeded, you can cancel free of charge until delivery.
Share orders with your team and maintain shared glossaries. History, queries and results stay with the order.
Processing runs in the background, even with the browser closed. You see the progress and are notified of queries and of the finished translation.
Mark passages directly in the app. We fix deviations from your requirements free of charge; for change requests we quote a fixed price, and small ones are free of charge as a goodwill gesture within the first 30 days.
Request specialist editing, certified translations, terminology work or foreign-language typesetting from zappmedia directly with the order. These services are agreed separately.
The built-in help and the help assistant answer questions about using the portal. Our support team can be reached directly from the order.

On request, Localizer prepares your source text before translation. You choose how: correct errors only, or revise the text for a goal. Numbers, units, placeholders and links stay unchanged, and if you wish, you review every suggestion before translation starts.
Money-saving tip Fix errors and inaccuracies before they multiply in your translations. For orders in several languages, this pays off several times over.
Upload, choose target languages, review the quote. Translation only starts once you accept the quote.
